Khum Khantoke Lanna Dining & Show

The meal and show take their name from the traditional “khantoke” serving tray on which many small dishes of various foods would be brought out to be sampled by diners seated on the floor at dinner time. Today, guests who eat from the khantoke get to watch an enchanting show and have their choice of traditional floor seating or being seated in western style in chairs at a table as they dine.As you dine you will be treated to a show with many different classical dance routines. The dances will highlight things specific to the local Thais and hill tribes from the North. For instance, there is one with movements that mimic the process of gathering tea leaves in the mountains, a common local occupation. If you attend a big show like the one at Kum Khantoke, you can expect the show will be quite elaborate in terms of lighting and costumes.
